Before we play our first game together, we want to let you know you’re welcome here anytime. Our blog will be about the ‘why’ we build the games we build: creativity, perception, curiosity, imagination, connection.
We come across some really cool stuff about creativity, so we’re gonna share some of that, too. Scientists Who Know Things are studying how the creative process works, and we want to share it with y’all. Like, how our physiology or emotions — including negative emotions! — often drive our desire to create. Or stop us from expressing ourselves at all. Or how neuroscience is finding ways to help us develop our creative thinking.
We might dip into a little bit of the philosophy of creativity, too, like:
- How is creativity connected to what gives us more meaning or purpose?
- Why does drawing upside work better for beginners? When or how can you use prompts?
- What do we mean by the Third Layer?
